The Gateway to Sussex Wine Country

We offer vineyard, winery and wine tasting tours with the winemaker on the majority of Saturdays at 11am and 2pm between April and October each year. Our tours give a deep insight into our winemaking process from soil to bottle. Our tours are virtually unique as they are given by one of the winemakers, Simon or Tom, and include a comprehensive, in-depth tour of both the vineyard and the winery, culminating in a wine tasting of our range of delicious wines. You will gain a fascinating insight into how commercial wine is made and get close to all the equipment. You can also choose to add lunch by the river to your tour to make it even more of an enjoyable and informative day out.

You will have the opportunity to learn how we grow and nurture our vines to give us the best grapes. You will gain an understanding of how the weather can impact yield, and the importance of the soil and the environment to the wine. You will be guided through our winemaking process, learning about the modern, innovative methods and state-of-the-art equipment that we use in our production of quality English wine. The winemaker then talks you through a wine tasting of all our wines. This includes our wine that was selected for the Queen's party on the Royal Barge at her Diamond Jubilee celebrations and is served at top restaurants, such as Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons. The price per person for this special tour is £25pp. Tours take about 2hrs and start at either 11am or 2pm.
